NTPL Application Engineer is the technical owner of key, high potential and faster growth accounts in PAN India region and closely collaborating, executing, and responding to develop target accounts growth through strong partnership with sales team. AEs are involved in all phases of the selling, NTPL solution promoting, technical validating, and the production evaluating with key customers in NTPL customer engagement process.


Initially AEs are involved working with new and existing customers introducing them to the broad range of technical capabilities NTPL offers. This includes technical briefing, qualifying for potential opportunities, consulting test methodologies and competitive analysis which could provide experiences with optimized performance, scheduling, technical feasibilities, and ROI to key technical decision makers in the target accounts. To serve the best class of customer experience, AEs are tightly collaborating and managing technical support process with other engineering groups in organization. While AEs are engaging and expanding capabilities to more projects and design win processes in pre-sales stage with customers, AE will absorb the cutting-edge technologies and new trend in early stage with customers in technical leading companies.


Job description/responsibilities / work profile:

  • Understand target customer’s engineering process, key concerns, technical decision-making process / criteria, and challenges. And share technical discovery of customers to internal team on regular base.
  • Working closely with sales team to present the NTPL capabilities and strategy and product development effort in formal and on-going customer development activities.
  • Experience in communicating directly with customers and collaborating with sales closely.
  • Maximize business engagement and opportunity pipeline with key technical decision makers through approaching NTPL capabilities and solving customer challenging situations.
  • Manage and increase opportunity pipeline in the target accounts. Increase visibility of NTPL AE to be the trusted technical advisor role.
  • AEs are expected to manage multiple customer activities concurrently, and work with Account Managers and AE management to set their priorities.
  • Customer support roles include training, problem resolution, and technical account management.
  • AEs must be able to interact effectively with end-users at customer sites, as well as managers.
  • AE must have Timing Closure techniques must be able to make Estimation and costing.
  • Development time will be spent gaining expertise in additional, or specialization tools, broadening focus from product emphasis to methodology, sharpening Account Management skills, and learning to leverage success.


Skills required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Letter drafting skills to communicate with the customers.
  • Passion for creativity, innovative solutions, exposure to cutting edge technology and positive approach to customer challenges.
  • Excellent command over English/ knowledge on Kannada and Hindi is a plus.
  • Expertise on Ms office.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Location: Peenya industrial estate, Bangalore (the candidate should be ready to relocate).

Education: preferably engineering background, not necessarily / MBA in marketing is a plus.

Experience: 4 to 6 years proven experience in similar role/sales or business development knowledge in the industrial domain.

Work week: Monday to Saturday 9:00am – 5:30pm (work from office)

Remuneration as per industry standards. Salary not a constraint for the right candidate.
